Garrett Armstrong, the lead guitarist of Epic Fail, womanizer and not-so-nice guy, leaves a trail of women in his wake. A recent one-night stand wreaks havoc and turns his present completely upside down. He’s faced with a reality that he never expected. Never wanted.

Samantha Weston can’t escape the black cloud that follows her. She suffered an unspeakable loss as a teenager and has been climbing uphill ever since. As soon as her life starts to become manageable, she’s slammed with another tragic event, forcing her to abandon the only thing in life that she cherishes.

A heartbreaking situation throws this unlikely pair together. They’re forced to face things that seem impossible. Can Sam get past the demons that haunt her? Can Garrett accept a fate he swore to avoid at all costs?

Can they conquer the sins that are poised to destroy them, or will they become an Epic Fail?

Epic Sins is the first book of the Epic Fail series, a spinoff of The Forever Family series.

Reading The Forever Family series is not required as these are all spin-off/standalone novels, but it may enhance your experience.

Review
4.5 out of 5 stars

Epic Sins is a spin-off of the Forever Family Series, but it’s a standalone book.  I love starting a new Trudy Stiles book because this author can really write, she knows how to take a story and slowly unfold the pieces, perfectly alternating between past and present until every single detail is revealed and the puzzle is complete. If this gives you any indication of how much I enjoyed Epic Sins, I was up until 1:30 am finishing the ARC because I was so completely caught up in Garrett and Sam's journey, I knew my mind wouldn't turn off and allow me the sleep I so needed until I had read every single word of their story!

In an effort to not give too much of this journey away I will divulge as few details as possible.  Garret is a band member of Epic Fail, on tour, loving life in the spotlight including the many groupies who are vying for his attention.  As far as things are concerned his present situation in life is perfect, that is until one moment in time changes everything and things will never be the same again.

Sam, a neonatal nurse, is a hard-working driven young girl, with a peaceful, contagious personality; the kind of person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others.  This girl truly loves her job, but she has a past she just doesn’t seem to be able to get out from under.  One patient sets her life on a course she never imagined but when the past and present unite will Sam be able to move forward and find happiness and love or will she run?

Trudy Stiles has once again managed to release a story bursting at the rim with emotions, and people they are genuine.  You absolutely will not be able to walk away from this book without being emotionally impacted.  The pages are filled with fear, hope, love, desperation…the list could go on and on.  It’s a beautiful story, it has a very genuine and authentic feel, and when you finish take the time to read the Author’s note in the back.  Don’t pass on Epic Sins, one-click it today!
