Meet Fletcher, he's the ultimate bachelor/playboy. Successful, handsome, and fun with a heart of gold. He loves his life, loves being single and has a set of rules to make sure he doesn't get too attached. But on New Year's Eve he met a woman, a woman who not only rocked his world but who after one night together was willing to break even the most sacred of his rules for.
Meet Bayler, she's driven, beautiful, fun and outgoing with a heart of gold. She's never had a serious boyfriend and that's by design. She doesn't want heartbreak standing in the way of her dreams. She doesn't need a man to make her happy and a long time ago she too devised a set of rules to not only keep her on course but more importantly to keep her heart safe from the dangers of being completely broken. The only problem, one night with a stranger, a stranger she cannot get out of her mind, has her wanting to breaking all the rules, fortunately she doesn't know his name and will never have to worry about running into him again.
That is until her brother, Carter, and all his friends show up in Texas for his wedding. How cruel is fate that Fletcher just happens to be one of her future sister-in-law's best friends or is it destiny the one man she cannot get off her mind will be escorting her in her brother's wedding? Will these two be able to resist the draw to one another or will their chemistry combust? Let's just say buckle in and get ready for some LOL moments.
Having read the previous two books in this series, I was more than happy to dive back into their lives and catch back up with some really fun characters. Bayler and Fletcher are individually lovable people and together they just make sense. I struggled a little getting into the story, but by the 40% mark I felt as though the pace got better and I felt more drawn into plot. I thought it was great idea on the author's part to have the two of them meet unexpectedly time and time again, it provided for some really funny moments. While enjoyable this is a quick read and unfortunately sometimes the story felt forced and rushed. Pleasured By You is a great addition to the series and I enjoyed being with the "gang" agin. The drama isn't too over the top and I appreciated how adult the characters handled things when they realized and owned up to their mistakes. This series is comprised of such a fun group/family of characters I'm interested to see where Steph Nuss takes them next.
