Review: Beautiful Beginning, by Christina Lauren

Synopsis
Back when not being able to stand each other also meant not being able to keep their hands off each other in Beautiful Bastard, neither Bennett nor Chloe could have seen this day coming.

An exasperated bride who just wants to elope. A determined groom whose only focus is getting to the wedding night. And—of course—a whole lot of name calling.

Review
4.25 out of 5 stars

Beautiful Beginning was an absolutely excellent finish to a really fun, a little dirty and super sexy series.  After reading the first 5 books you cannot help but feel like you know all the characters personally so of course you're going to want to know what's in their futures.  This book provided each of our favorite couples with their own perfect happily ever after!

It's finally time for Bennett (aka Beautiful Bastard) and Chloe (aka Beautiful Bitch) to say their I do's.  What they wanted was a small intimate ceremony with their immediate family and close friends in San Diego, the place it all truly began, but what they got was an overwhelmingly large destination wedding which included spending time with long lost relatives over the course of several days.  Throw in a challenge from the Beautiful Bastard himself to abstain until the wedding night and what you get is a crazy, nerve-wracking hilarious wedding week that I promise you don't want to miss.

Chloe and Bennett have come such a long way since we first met them and I have to say they've won me over as a couple.  As individuals they are each in their own right an unstoppable powerhouse which creates this frustrating /love/hate feeling between the two, but at the same time they push each other to be better and honestly bring out the best in one another.  I think this novella did a nice job highlighting what really makes this couple tick.

I honestly though this book was the perfect mix of humor, smut and seriousness which provided the opportunity to showcase not only character growth but story depth as well.  Overall I really enjoyed this series.  I may have felt hesitant at first and somewhat detached to the characters, however, with each book the story lines went deeper, the writing improved and before I new it I was a fan of the series.  Well done Christina and Lauren for creating such a great series and some really fun characters to swoon over!  A big thank you to Gallery books for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
